A quick word about public vs private

This journal is filtered to friends only by default.

If a post is something I'm happy for anyone - including my employers - to read, then it will be posted on my singularity blog. You can add that to your friends page here. Note that it may not necessarily be work safe. That's not the same thing at all. There you will find all triathlon write-ups but not the training logs, which will continue to be posted under the training filter here. That's just because they are dull.

It's not that I'm a particularly private person, I've just had some bad experiences.

If there is some reason why I should add you and I have not already done so, leave a comment. Might help to know how I know you, or, more accurately, how you know me.

Hey Sam, I got your LJ ID off Carl. Sorry if it's a bit intruding, but I've een following your blog/site thing for a while now, and hell you strike me a a damn interesting/intelligent person. And there aren't too many of us in the world :)

I've been most iterested in your writing. I believe you are doing a writing course. I myself am a published author, and I'm really curious about your ideas on the whole literary thing. I read the piece you did about the man who hit a person and told his wife it was a deer. I believe you hated that one. So did I :)

So hey ya know if its all good with you I can maybe drop you a line sometime.

P.S I loe your choice of music too :)
